  • Description

    On the Spot Mission in the Netherlands is a 3 days practical
    workshop and simulation of an On the Spot Control of real-life
    ESIF projects.

    PROGRAMME
    Participants will become familiar with the toolbox of instruments
    for conducting the On the Spot Controls and apply their knowledge
    in a hands on manner. They will visit 4 real-life ESIF projects
    implemented in the South of the Netherlands and act as auditors
    conducting the On the Spot Control. Participants will have
    the opportunity to confront real cases and gather materials
    and evidence of irregularities and fraud to be presented by the
    end of the training. Preparing a convincing presentation of their
    findings will not only sharpen participants’ anti-fraud skills and
    competencies in preventing irregularities, but also strengthen
    their individual public presentation skills.

      Preparation for the on the spot Visits

      The first day of the training (venue in Amsterdam) is focused on preparing the visits to the projects;

      – preparation behind desk, with use of laptops (a minimum of 2 per team of 5 participants) and use of social media,
      – aggregation sites, sophisticated audit software and internet.
      – professional risk analysis,
      – data analysis and innovation in your way of thinking
      – set up of checklists / questionnaire for the visits

    • On the Spots Visit of 4 Projects in Netherlands

      Visits to 3 different locations in the south of Netherlands, near to the boarder with Germany, and near to the
      boarders with Luxemburg and Belgium.

      There we’ll visit the 4 different projects.

      On the spot the teams will make use of their most important
      instruments and checklists.

      The most important instruments, auditors and inspectors should make use of during on-the-spot visits
      and audits in order to be successful.
      All focused on improving the use of these instruments and especially your skills and enrichment of
      your knowledge.

      While performing these on-the-spot visits intensively being coached on the spot.

    On 15 September After 14:00 check-in for the participants available in a 4* Hotel in Amsterdam

    Next to the training materials, the participation fee is covering:
    a) accommodation for three nights including breakfast in a 4* Hotel in the center of Amsterdam (check-in on Tuesday the 15. September, check-out on Friday the 18. September).
    b) The lunches during the Training will be provided.
    c) We invite all our participants to 2 get together dinners (on Wednesday and Thursday).
    d) the transportation costs during the second day for visiting on the Spot Projects
