Fraud Detection Using IT Tools and Data Analytics:
Control and Audit of ESIF and RRF in the New Programming Period
openregistration
-
Description
Application of IT tools and data analytics techniques provides unique opportunities for detection of fraud and irregularities and is highly recommended by the European Commission to be adopted in the control practices of the Member states for the new programming period. The anti-fraud measures are essential for the effective functioning of the management and control systems and smooth absorption of the ESIF and RRF funds. Using modern IT tools and data analytics techniques will create new opportunities for detection of fraud and irregularities, which can not be identified using the standard control procedures, who are currently introduced by the Member states.
Our Winter Academy will help you to upgrade your know how and competencies on development of effective and efficient anti-fraud measures, building of preventive and detective controls and how to apply IT tools and data analytics techniques to detect fraud and irregularities. Participants of the Winter Academy will gain unique, hands-on knowledge of new tools, instruments, methods and best practices for detection of fraud and irregularities and creation of anti-fraud measures.
The Winter Academy will cover the following issues:
- INTOSAI fraud control framework.
- Best practices for anti-fraud measures of OLAF, OECD and European Commission;
- Anti-fraud strategy and corrective measures;
- Fraud indicators;
