Managing State Aid:
Expert Case Studies and Challenges
openregistration
-
Description
The correct application of State Aid rules can be challenging but is essential for the functioning of the Single Market. It allows to avoid irregularities and financial corrections and, ultimately, to implement quality investments.
The European Commission modernised the State Aid rules by making them less bureaucratic and more transparent. However, the changes placed greater responsibility on Member States for designing and implementing aid measures. This requires a particular attention and a continuous effort in increasing awareness. Our Practical Training is focused on real life case studies, providing Participants with practical insight in professional management of the State Aid.
After completing the official programme of the first day of the Academy, the ESI Funds Academy is inviting the Participants to a Walking Tour in Lisbon and a get together dinner.
