Field of specialisation


Her research work focus on the institutionalisation of evaluation and the M&E system under the Sustainable Development Goals in Portugal.



Professional experience


As a Portuguese civil servant she has worked for the Planning and Evaluation Division of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers. Her activity was mainly focused on performance and budgetary measurement of public sector organizations.

As a Robert Bosch Stiftung Fellow she worked for the Spanish Public Policy Evaluation Agency – AEVAL, in 2017, being part of the evaluation team that conduct the intermediate evaluation of Spain’s National Rural Development Plan.

At the same time, she completed a Master Degree on Public Policy and Programmes Evaluation at the Complutense University of Madrid. Her training on evaluation also includes Executive Seminars at the Hertie School of Governance, in Berlin, and the IPDET 2018 – International Program for Development Evaluation Training, a product developed by the Independent Evaluation Group, from the World Bank Group.

She was been delivering training courses on M&E for civil servants and project managers under the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization framework, in Turin.

She is currently involved in the design of the M&E system of the Portuguese National Plan for Rural Fires Management.
