Before joining ESI Funds Academy, she gained extensive practical knowledge in this field.
She has been working on managerial positions in Polish public institutions for 20 years including the Office of Civil Service as a manager responsible for EU projects and strategic HRM. She has broad experience as General Director of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration, Ministry of Digitization and Administration and in the Ministry of the Interior. She has also performed as Key Expert in numerous international projects.
Edyta Szostak speaks Russian, French and English. She is married and has two children.
Since 1999, he has been involved in the implementation of the pre-accession projects (Phare’97 Needs analysis and European training, Phare’01 Raising awareness of civil servants on ethical dilemmas, Phare’03 Strengthening of administration capacities) as well as the preparation process of Structural Funds in Poland at central and regional level. She has also been engaged in the implementation of the projects in the post-accession period as a manager and trainer within the institutional building projects.
She has been working in Poland as well as abroad as an EU expert, including: currently as a Technical Focal Point for HRM in the framework of Capacity Building in Migration Management – Project Supporting Migration and Asylum Management in Ukraine implemented by IOM; two years’ work as an expert for Twinning project Support to Civil Service Development in Ukraine, a consultant in strategic and HR management within the Eastern Partnership Police Cooperation Program coordinated by Ministry of the Interior in Poland.
She has also planned and lead short-term missions, workshops and runs seminars for the Central and Eastern Europe public sector institutions (in Moldova, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine).
Edyta has MA in Philology and the MBA Diploma. She is a graduate from National School of Public Administration and Postgraduate Human Resources Management Studies. She has also worked as an Associate Senior Lecturer of Postgraduate Studies on Audit in Public Sector at the Warsaw School of Economics (PL). She was an independent member of Audit Committee Member at the Ministry of the Infrastructure and Development.
