  • Concerning the fields of EU cohesion policies: the enhancing institutional capacity of public authorities (Thematic Object 11).


Professional experience


Senior expert on cohesion policies, over 16 years of experience on EU Structural Funds acquired working for Italian public authorities (especially for the Italian Agency for Territorial Cohesion) and for Managing Authorities and Audit Authorities of some Italian Operational Programmes and related to different programming periods (since 2000-2006) with responsibilities and coordination roles.

Author of articles and essays and lecturer, also for some Italian Universities, in the field of development policies, mainly about management and control systems.

Member of National Technical Secretariat of Plans for Administrative Reinforcement (PRAs) appointed by General Secretary of Presidency of the Council of Ministers – The Plans for Administrative Reinforcement (PRAs) are Italian innovative instruments to enhance the capacity building of Public Administrations. The National Technical Secretariat is responsible of the national governance of the PRAs.

Member of italian working group for the use of the European Commission Antifraud System “Arachne”;

Member of European Commission expert group regarding the advisory platform FI-COMPASS, the technical advisory platform for ESIF financial instruments and EaSI microfinance.

Member of the Commission for Consumer Credit, Microcredit and the Structural Funds of the National Association for the Study of Credit Problems (ANSPC).
