International experience: representative of the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equity in international working groups/committees/workshops/seminars at European level and from other international organizations such as WHO, WHO Euro Region, OECD and during the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the EU.



Professional experience


Advisor in the Cabinet of the General Direction of Relations to Courts in the Spanish Ministry of Presidency, Relations with Courts and Equity being responsible for health, consumers, social and equity dossiers (September 2018-onwards).

 

Fellow of the XIII Bellevue Program hosted in the French Ministry of Social Affairs and Health, Direction General d’offre de soins. Sous-direction des Ressources Humaines du Système de Santé. Bureau RH2 exercice, déontologie et développement (October 2016-December 2017).

 

Master on leadership and public management by the Menedez Pelayo University and the National Institute for Public Administration (September 2015–June 2017)

Positions at the Spanish Ministry of Health:

  • Area Manager on Health Professional Training of the General Direction of Health Professionals (January 2015-October 2016; January 2017-September 2018).

 

  • Head of Service at the International Technical Coordination Unit of the General Secretariat for Health and Consumers (April 2012-January 2015) being Alternate in the Management Board of the ECDC and representative in the Consumer Health Protection Committee of the Council of Europe.

 

  • Head of Service at the Cabinet of the General Directorate for Public Health and International Health (October 2009-April 2012).

Head of Section of Inspection and Drug Control (September 2008-October 2009).

Civil Servant-State General Administration (2007). Training at the Spanish Agency of Medicines and Medical Products (April 2008).

Professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry: manufacturing, quality control, regulatory, pharmacovigilance, clinical trials and market access (1999 – 2007).
