Professional experience

Starting with 2006 my involvement in the implementation of PHARE programmes  as a financial officer, that I continued to widen as a financial and programming officer within the MA for an ENPI funded programme -Black Sea Basin CBC Programme, being involved in the programming phase, and later on in the negotiation with the EC of the programming document.

I was seconded for o short period to the AIPA where I dealt with the Common Agricultural Policy for Romania and direct payments, where I have interacted with designing the IT system and specific technical aspects in this domain.

I continued my work experience within the MA for Romania-Republic of Serbia IPA CBC Programme as a financial officer and I had the opportunity to coordinate for a couple of months the programme unit. In this period, I coordinated the activity of evaluation, selection and contracting of projects for the second call for proposals, when also the thematic call for the Danube Strategy was launched, a successful and highly appreciated initiative at EU level.

For one year I continued coordinating another unit, namely the Romania-Bulgaria CBC Programme Unit. These opportunities increased my management skills and brought me the occasion to widen my ESIF knowledge, especially regarding ERDF, but also broaden my negotiation skills, having day-to-day cooperation with a National Authority from a Member State.

Furthermore, I continued experiencing programming activities, as we were preparing the Interreg IPA CBC Programme to be approved and audit activities. I am currently involved in TA management (contracting of TA beneficiaries and MA contract implementation, TA priority axis management at Programme level) and projects contracting.
