Expert on social innovation projects
Markéta Pěchoučková is working in the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of the Czech Republic as a head of unit responsible for supporting social innovation projects with ESF. Markéta enjoys supporting people / institutions that are keen to constantly learn and improve services for their clients to sustainably improve their situation. Efficient public services and evidence based decision making is another area of interest that Marketa and her team supports through ESF projects. Before joining Ministry of Labour in 2005, she worked in the European Commission, Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic and consultant companies.
Currently head of unit responsible for preparation and implementation of priority axis on social innovation and transnational cooperation within ESF Operational programme Employment, with allocation approx. 46,6 mil EUR for 2013-2020 period: preparation and launching calls for proposals, consultation with applicants, selection of projects, projects administration, evaluation, promotion of project results, cooperation with public sector, non-profit, academia and business sector.
