Professional experience

Tomislav Belovari, M.A., received in 2001 his master in European Studies at the ZEI – Center for European Integration Studies, Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms University Bonn. He has more than 20 years’ experience in European Union topics with special focus on EU funds CARDS, Phare, IPA 2007-2027, Union Programmes, Cohesion policy – Structural and Cohesion Funds 2007-2013, European Structural and Invest-ment funds 2014-2020 (ESIF). He is currently involved in programming of EU Struc-tural and Cohesion Funds Programmes 2021-2027 and NextGenarationEU instru-ment.
Since 2001 he has been responsible for supporting Croatian state administration in the designing a system for EU Funds management, programming, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of EU pre-accession and post accession funds and pro-grammes.
Tomislav since 2006 has more than 15 years of management experience on various positions as Head of Department, Head of Sector, Head of Service, member of Re-public of Croatia negotiation team for EU membership for chapters 17, 20 and 22 2005-2011, Senior EU Programming Officer, Deputy National IPA Coordinator, Depu-ty EU Coordinator, member of national coordinating authority for ESIF funds.
He has respectable experience and skill as a trainer, lecturer, and moderator on EU funds.
